Shipping Insurance Policy
Capital Kidz includes shipping insurance with every shipped order at no extra cost.
Coverage only applies to items damaged while in transit to the delivery address.
What this covers
Shipping insurance only covers items that arrive with damage caused during carrier transit.
What this does not cover
Shipping insurance does not cover buyer's remorse, standard returns, product misuse, normal wear, manufacturer warranty issues, theft after delivery, packages marked delivered by the carrier, or box-only cosmetic damage when the product inside is undamaged.
How to report transit damage
If your item arrives damaged, email service@capitalkidz.com as soon as possible.
- Include your order number.
- Attach photos of the shipping box and damaged product.
- Send any carrier notes or delivery details you received.
- Keep the original packaging until the claim is reviewed.
How we help
When transit damage is confirmed, Capital Kidz will work with you on the appropriate resolution, which may include replacement parts, a replacement item, or another solution based on the item and damage.
