Will I need a quick online chat?
Some purchases require a medical-necessity review through Flex. A licensed clinician decides whether a Letter of Medical Necessity is appropriate; approval is not automatic.
Can I include other products in my order?
Yes. Flex may ask for another payment method for items that cannot be paid for with HSA/FSA funds. Review your payment details before placing the order.
Is paying with Flex a discount?
No. Flex is a payment option for qualifying HSA/FSA purchases. Potential tax benefits depend on your individual circumstances; they are not a reduction in the product's price.
Do HSA or FSA funds expire?
HSA balances generally carry forward. FSA spending deadlines, grace periods and carryover depend on your employer's plan. Check with your plan administrator before making a purchase.
What records should I keep?
Keep your itemized receipt and any Letter of Medical Necessity for your records. Your plan administrator may ask for supporting documentation. Flex documents can be accessed through its consumer portal using the email from checkout.
