The Adaptive Star Axiom Endeavour is a three-wheel indoor/outdoor mobility push chair for families who need supported seating, growth room and all-terrain capability. Its front wheel is fixed: to turn, the caregiver presses down on the handlebar and pivots the chair. An optional Axis Kit converts it to a four-wheel swivel-front setup. Choose Size 2, 3 or 4 from the manufacturer's measurements, not age alone.

Size capacities150, 200 or 250 lb by size
TerrainGrass, gravel, curbs and hard-packed sand
Why It Helps
A fixed front wheel tracks through mixed outdoor terrain; turning requires a deliberate handlebar press and pivot.
The optional swivel-wheel Axis Kit changes the chair to four wheels for tighter maneuvering, but it is sold separately and disables the front brake.
A standard 30-degree recline, adjustable handlebar and foot buckets adjustable in one-inch increments support caregiver setup and growth.
The chair uses a five-point harness and wrist strap, plus a caregiver hand brake and rear foot brake; apply the rear foot brake for loading and unloading.
The under-seat basket has a current 10 lb maximum, correcting the older 5 lb listing claim.
The chair folds, the wheels remove, and the seat, canopy and basket can be removed for manufacturer-specified cold machine washing.
Size 4 requires a completed measurement chart; Adaptive Star states that proceeding without it makes the order final sale.

Is This the Right Choice?
Best forFamilies whose measured rider fits Size 2, 3 or 4 and who want fixed-wheel outdoor tracking with an optional swivel conversion.
Consider another option ifYou need effortless tight turns without purchasing the Axis Kit, your clearances do not fit the selected dimensions, or the rider's measurements fall outside the chart.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Axiom Endeavour turn? Its front wheel is fixed. The caregiver presses down on the handlebar to lighten the front and pivots the chair.
What does the optional Axis Kit change? The separately sold Axis Kit converts the chair to a four-wheel swivel-front setup for tighter turns. The front brake does not operate with that kit.
What are the Size 2, 3 and 4 capacities? The manufacturer lists 150 lb for Size 2, 200 lb for Size 3 and 250 lb for Size 4. Fit also depends on every seat and lower-leg measurement.
How much can the basket hold? The current Adaptive Star manual sets the basket maximum at 10 lb.
Can the seat, canopy and basket be washed? Yes. Remove them and machine wash cold as instructed. Air-dry the seat, do not machine dry it and reinstall the support boards correctly.
What is required before ordering Size 4? Adaptive Star requires a completed measurement chart. If the buyer chooses to proceed without it, the manufacturer states that the order is final sale.
