BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Duallie Review: Measure Before You Buy

Our recommendation: Put the Revolution Flex 3.0 Duallie on your shortlist when two-child outdoor outings are a priority and you have space for a 30.5 in wide stroller. Check your doorway, trunk and lifting routine before you choose it. Choose it for shared outdoor outings; choose a different format if daily stair carries or tight storage dominate your routine.

This is a sourced buying guide, not a Capital Kidz hands-on test. We checked U.S. manufacturer documentation and the Capital Kidz catalog on October 19, 2026. Specifications describe the model; fit and availability still depend on the exact product you choose.

The three measurements that decide ownership

It is easy to focus on suspension and tires when shopping for a double jogger. The harder question is what happens before and after the walk: can you get it out of the house, lift it into the car, and store it without blocking the hallway?

Ready-to-use weight
33.1 lb
Open width
30.5 in
Folded, wheels on
40 × 30.5 × 17.5 in
Folded, wheels off
33 × 30.5 × 12 in

These are BOB’s current published dimensions. Removing wheels reduces two dimensions, but the listed width remains 30.5 in. It does not turn into a narrow parcel. Measure the actual clear opening of your doorway and trunk, including hinges, trim and the angle you must lift through. A nominal “standard door” is not a fit guarantee.

Try the lifting task as well as measuring it. A stroller can fit your trunk on paper and still be awkward to load after every school run. If you have to remove wheels each time, consider whether you have a clean place for them and room to reassemble away from traffic.

Why choose a side-by-side outdoor stroller?

The Duallie combines two seats with air-filled tires, suspension and a front wheel that swivels for walking and locks for jogging. Independent seat adjustments can matter when one child wants to sit upright while another rests. Those features give it a clear role for families whose shared outing is the main event.

The tradeoff is a large object to carry and store. If the main job is airport transfers or squeezing a stroller into a packed car, also read our Minu Duo buying guide. A compact double and a double jogger solve different problems. Do not buy the compact option expecting jogging suitability, or choose the jogger expecting a compact-travel fold.

Jogging readiness is different from walking readiness

BOB’s model page separates three stages: an approved infant car-seat setup for walking from birth; stroller-seat walking from 8 weeks; and jogging/off-road use from 8 months. These are manufacturer minimums, not individual medical clearance. Consult your pediatrician about each child’s readiness and follow the exact user guide.

For jogging, the front wheel must be locked against swiveling. BOB also requires the wrist strap, harness and correct setup. Its manual says the seats must be fully upright for jogging and prohibits jogging with an infant car seat attached. Follow the manufacturer’s full checklist for the exact setup.

The manual limits each child to 50 lb and 44 in. The 100 lb overall capacity includes children and luggage; it is not a 100 lb child allowance with bags added afterward. The cargo basket has its own 10 lb limit. Stay within every applicable limit.

Choose between the standard and open-box listing carefully

Capital Kidz currently has a standard Graphite Black listing and a separately described new open-box Graphite Black listing. Compare the exact condition statement, included items, current price and return terms on the listing you select.

A review of the model does not establish the condition of an individual box. Likewise, a lower price on a separately labeled condition listing is not a permanent model-wide discount. Save the listing details with your order if condition is part of your decision.

Questions worth answering before checkout

Can both children use an infant car seat?

No. The Duallie accepts one approved infant car seat, not two. BOB’s official FAQ states that its Duallie infant car-seat adapter is designed for one carrier. Use only the adapter approved for your exact stroller and infant-seat model, and use that setup for walking only. Never jog with an infant car seat attached. Families needing two infant car seats at once should choose a different approved setup.

What maintenance should I expect?

Air-filled tires require pressure checks. BOB’s safety checklist also calls for secure wheels, inspection for damage, and checking components before use. Budget for that routine instead of choosing pneumatic tires expecting maintenance-free ownership.
