The canopy is 20% larger than the one on the original MESA, to keep your baby protected from sun and rain as much as possible. On the original MESA, the infant insert could hold up to 8 pounds. The MESA V2 infant insert, redesigned to offer better positioning for your baby, can hold up to 11 pounds! The headrest on this car seat is larger and more robust, for increased side impact protection. The European belt path and the ventilated headrest and insert are also new for the MESA V2.
Something cool about this car seat is that there are now 4 handlebar positions, and the added fourth position works as an anti-rebound bar in front, for safety purposes!
All fabrics on the MESA V2 are flame-retardant free and Greenguard Gold certified. And just so you know, for brand detailing, there's a little tag at the bottom front of the car seat that says V2, and the word MESA is imprinted on the lower front of the car seat.
Like the original MESA, the V2 has a Smart Secure System with an indicator that changes from green to red, so that you can easily see if the base was installed correctly.

We offer free shipping to all addresses within the contiguous US. Unfortunately, we can't ship to PO box addresses. Please feel free to request a shipping quote to PR, HI, AK, GU, APO, and FPO.

Most orders received before 12:01 am EST usually ship the same business day. Most baby products ship from our Baltimore, MD warehouse.

Return Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase! If you would like to return your item, simply email us at service@capitalkidz.com, and we'll provide you with return instructions. We gladly accept unused products — still in their original, undamaged packaging — for return or exchange within 30 days of delivery.
Once your return request is approved, you may request to receive a discounted return shipping label from CapitalKidz. If you'd like us to schedule a FedEx pickup at your home, please let us know. We will email you a label and the cost of the discounted return shipping will be deducted from your refund. NO RESTOCKING FEES!
Your refund will issued to the original method of payment used for the purchase. We make every effort to process returns quickly, but occasionally it takes a bit longer. Please allow up to 14 business days from receipt of your return for your refund to be issued.
All items are inspected upon receipt at our warehouse. A restocking fee may apply ONLY if an item is returned in used or damaged condition or without the original packaging. A refund may be denied if an item is used and/or damaged.
- Redemption of rewards points is final. When returning or exchanging an item, previously redeemed rewards points are not added back to your rewards account.
- Refunds can only be issued to the same method of payment used for the original purchase.
- If the item being returned was a gift, we can (a) refund the original credit card, (b) exchange it for a different item, or (c) issue store credit.
- If the item you purchased is defective, we will help you file a warranty claim with the manufacturer.
